Wear Luxury. Without the Price Tag.

At Luxe Gown Boutique, we believe every woman deserves to feel extraordinary at her most special moments — without the commitment of a full purchase. Our dress hire service gives you access to our curated collection of luxury formal, evening, and cocktail gowns for a fraction of the retail price.

We also encourage you to keep an open mind when it comes to styles and colours — you may be surprised by what looks and feels amazing on. Our collection is diverse, and sometimes the gown you least expected becomes the one you love most.

How It Works

  1. Browse collection and select your gown
  2. Try On Appointment — Book a private try-on at our Doreen studio. Your $10 booking fee goes toward your purchase or hire.
  3. Booking your event date — we will secure your event date and dress
  4. We ship to you via Express Post — your gown arrives freshly dry cleaned, pressed, and ready to wear
  5. Wear it. Love it.
  6. Return it using the Express Post return satchel — no dry cleaning required

Hire Details

  • Hire Period: 4 days from your event date
  • Extended Hire: Longer hire periods available on request — contact us to arrange
  • Shipping: $15 AUD — Express Post to you (charged at checkout) 
  • Returns: $15 AUD — Express Post return satchel (charged at checkout)
  • Security Bond: Between $100 & $200 based on value of dress— charged at checkout and refunded in full upon return of the gown in its original condition
  • Dry Cleaning: Included — please do not attempt to clean the garment yourself
  • Free Pick Up and Drop Off

Dress Hire Prices

Hire fees are based on the retail value of each gown and generally range from $50 to $300 AUD for a 4-day hire period.

  • $50 – $150 — cocktail and semi-formal gowns
  • $150 – $200 — formal and evening gowns
  • $200 – $300 — premium gowns

Prices reflect the quality and retail value of each piece.

Sizing & Fit

Please refer to the size guide on each individual hire listing. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort.

Don't see your size? With enough notice, we may be able to order your size in the gown you love — subject to availability and production status. Allow at least 3–4 weeks for delivery. Contact us to enquire.

Important Notes

  • Security Bond & Hire fees are not eligible for Afterpay or buy now, pay later payment plans. Full payment is required at checkout.
  • Late returns may incur an additional fee.
  • Damage beyond normal wear will be deducted from your security bond. Depending on the extent of damage, deductions may be up to the full retail price of the gown and will be charged to the card used at the time of booking.
