Luxe Gown Boutique is a private, appointment‑only fitting studio designed to provide a calm, respectful, and trauma‑informed experience for every client. The following policies ensure the safety, privacy, and comfort of all clients who visit our home‑based studio.

Trauma‑Informed Environment

Luxe Gown Boutique operates with trauma‑informed principles to create a supportive and predictable environment. This includes:

  • one‑on‑one appointments
  • a quiet, low‑stimulus studio
  • controlled access to the space
  • respect for privacy and personal boundaries
  • a calm, uninterrupted fitting experience

These practices allow us to maintain a safe and comfortable atmosphere for all clients.

Women‑Focused Service

Luxe Gown Boutique provides services exclusively to clients who identify as women.
This reflects the boutique's focus on women's formalwear and the need to maintain a consistent, private, and respectful fitting environment.

This approach is permitted under the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic), which allows single‑sex services in personal‑fitting and intimate‑apparel settings.

Appointment Conditions

To protect the privacy and comfort of all clients:

  • All appointments are one‑on‑one.
  • Guests may only attend with prior approval.
  • No walk‑ins or unannounced visits are permitted.
  • Access to the studio is strictly controlled due to its home‑based setting.
  • Clients must arrive on time and follow all studio guidelines.
  • Respectful behaviour is expected at all times.

These conditions ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience.

Cancellations & No‑Shows

We understand that plans can change. However, as a private appointment‑only studio, late cancellations and no‑shows impact our ability to accommodate other clients.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will forfeit the booking deposit.
  • No‑shows will forfeit the booking deposit in full.
  • If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you.

The $10 booking deposit is non‑refundable in the event of a cancellation or no‑show, but is applied toward your purchase or hire when your appointment proceeds.

Right to Refuse Service

Luxe Gown Boutique reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or discontinue service at any time where the safety, comfort, privacy, or integrity of the studio environment may be compromised.

This may include:

  • behaviour that causes discomfort or concern
  • failure to follow appointment conditions
  • attendance with unapproved guests
  • inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive conduct
  • circumstances that prevent us from maintaining a supportive environment

All decisions are made at the discretion of Luxe Gown Boutique.
We are not required to provide a reason for declining or discontinuing an appointment.

This ensures the wellbeing of all clients and the safety of our home‑based studio.

Privacy & Safety

We are committed to providing a respectful, private, and secure fitting experience.
Client information is kept confidential, and the studio environment is designed to protect emotional and physical comfort at all times.
